Gerber's EAB Lite is an example of well-executed minimum viable product. It is the smallest possible form you could have for a folding utility knife that takes standard blades.
There's a liner lock, and the grooves in the handle are meant to provide the grip you need on something this diminutive. The pocket clip lets it do double-duty as a money clip. As a bonus, it's easy on the eyes.
Overall, a handsome little piece of industrial design.
The company has priced it for $18, but on Amazon it's $13 and change.

Gerber makes good knives but this one reminds me of the time when everyone was making smaller and smaller cell phones. It got to the point when they were just too small to be usable. For a utility knife, I prefer something I get a good grip on.

I had the Gerber for a long time, its ok, but not a great design. You need a separate tool to change the blades or even flip them and when open you don't have a ton of safe room to hold it. The above menioned Workpro looks pretty good at that price. If willing to spend a little more this thing is truly amazing: https://exceeddesigns.com/product/tirant-razor-v3-titanium-edc-utility-knife-stonewashed/
had one for years until I lost it! It's so small. I wound up replacing it with this: WORKPRO 3-Piece Quick Change Folding Pocket Utility Knife Set with Belt Clip - Amazon.com. It was less expensive, and I liked the folded steel body better than the machined aluminum one of Gerbers. It lives in the little fifth pocket of my jeans.
I got one, and use it for work. The main downside, is that changing the blade is done by undoing a screw, which is easily lost, and awkward to do. It also has low build quality, and is made of stamped out sheets of stainless steel that are welded together. As a knife it works fine. It's not for applying a lot of force, but it's also something you can carry without it being in the way. And the clip is super strong, so it will stay put. All this being said, a 9mm olfa knife is much better at being a small knife, primarily because of easy access to a sharp edge. (By breaking off the dull one)
