True's Dual Cutter: A Folding Knife, Plus Scissors with a Full-Size Handle
Does two things well, rather than offer multi-tool madness
like the design of this simple Dual Cutter, by tool manufacturer True. Rather than being a 16-function multitool with 15 half-assed functions, this one does just two things well: It provides a cutting blade, and a pair of scissors with a full-size handle that flips out.
The scissor blades are serrated and 1.5" long, so you're not going to be cutting dress patterns with it; but if you're working outside with a lot of cording, zip-ties or similar, I could see this tool coming in very handy, and I like the ergonomics of it.
The Dual Cutter runs $30.
