This was designed for renters, i.e. to leave no trace once removed. The "hardware" required to mount this is fastener-free. The steel holder hangs from an adhesive-backed plastic cleat that will stick to glass, tile or your toilet tank. A silicon bumper prevents marring the surface, and the adhesive doesn't leave a residue once the cleat is removed.
I think it looks better in white, but I've chosen the black model for the photos above, so you can better see the product.

I always thought these Japanese toilet-sinks ingenious but odd..
It looks like it would work with paper towels hanging off a fridge or above some countertops in the kitchen as well.
Forget small bathroom, how about having TP close at hand when you run out?? Love this, so simple.
