Strange form factor: This Miniproca looks like a laptop you designed while you were drunk.

It's billed as a "powerful all-in-one mini PC," and while you can use its 7" hinged touchscreen as the main monitor, you can actually connect up to three meaningfully-sized monitors.

In a world where powerful laptops exist, I wouldn't have thought there would be demand for the Miniproca's form factor. However, it's currently doing gangbusters on Kickstarter. Units start at $700, and there were 29 days left to pledge at press time.

It's not designed to be a laptop computer replacement. A better description would be 'like a Mac Mini with an auxiliary touchscreen'.
Laptop ergonomics are sub-optimal, since the screen and keyboard are adjacent to each other. Additionally, laptops are awkward to use even if you are using an alternative monitor - they take up a lot of desk space.
