Animal Snout Finger Rings
Jewelrymaking on a farm, by Kathryn Reid
Jeweler and silversmith Kathryn Reid gained her degree at the Edinburgh College of Art. After graduating, she returned to her family's farm in Ballymoney, Northern Ireland. There she was able to combine two of her passions, jewelrymaking and animals.
Reid's unique offering are these animal snout rings:
Cow
Horse
Cat
Pig
They can be engraved on the inside:
Reid calls them Nose Rings, as in Horse Nose Ring, Dog Nose Ring, et cetera. She also offers a Bull Nose Ring which, to get kind of meta, actually has a nose ring.
