A London-based startup called Ventete has unveiled their aH-1, an inflatable, collapsible bike helmet.
Details are scarce, but the company says it can be inflated with an attendant electric pump in 30 seconds.
Deflated, it's "smaller than a laptop," but there are no dimensions provided. There's also no mention of price nor a release date; instead the company is hoping you'll "sign up for early access" by giving them your e-mail address. (This mildly annoying practice has become a common tactic for startups these days.)

Needs lights.
Looks very slick, reminds me of the really old school bike helmets. Maybe better if you can inflate by mouth or a push valve like the Reebok Pump shoes? Feel the collapsability aspect of it gets disqualified by having to carry a device to inflate it, a device which I assume you need to charge beforehand or plug in.
