The winning Professional entry is Clixo Mars Rovers Pack, a magnetic building toy, by Assaf Eshet, Sebastian Morales, Evan Cincotta and Yaron Barlev, and the winning Student entry is Airbit, a soft robotics development kit, by Xiaoling Lin, Dikai Yu, Hao Tan, Xiangyang Xin at Hunan University.
It was our privilege to have Kevin Williams, Founder & CEO at OgoSport join us as our Jury Captain for the Toys & Play category this year. Joining Williams on the jury were Alex Hochstrasser, Founder & Designer at MOLUK, Jonathan Levy, SVP M&A & Venture at Spin Master and Steve Starobinsky, SVP Trends & New Markets at Gel Blaster.
The 2024 Core77 Design Awards Toys & Play category honors consumer products designed for children or adults for the purpose of activating play and creative exploration. Examples include: children's toys, board games, art supplies, DIY kits, educational toys, electronic toys, musical instruments, etc.
