The winning Professional entry is Zone Learn, a wired headset for classroom use, by Logitech Design, and the winning Student entry is CAPTR, a spatial crime scene investigation device, by Heinrich Zaunschirm at Umeå Institute of Design.
For 2024 the Tools Jury Captain was Scott Henderson, Principal at Scott Henderson, Inc. Joining Henderson on the jury team were Joe Doucet, Founder at Joe Doucet & Partners, Ross Lovegrove, Principal at Ross Lovegrove, LTD, Sahar Madanat, Founder & Creative Director at Twelve Degrees and Shani Sandy, VP, Experience Design at IBM.
The 2024 Core77 Design Awards Tools category honors consumer products or services designed for individual use with the intention of improving efficiency and productivity. Examples include: hardware tools, productivity applications, educational tools, etc.
