The winning Professional entry is ParaVerse, an app created by the Swiss Paraplegic Centre providing people with limited hand functions barrier-free access to the digital world, and the winning Student entry is a CODI | A Conversational User Interface (CUI) app designed for the Home Depot to aid DIYers in home improvement projects.
This year's Core77 Design Awards Apps & Platforms team was led by Stephanie Aaron, Vice President, Experience Design Lead at J.P. Morgan Chase. Joining Aaron on the panel was Jess Greco, Director, Product Experience Design at Mastercard, Alex Wilcox Cheek, Design Manager at Google, Meghan Romero, UX Design Lead at J.P. Morgan Chase and Jennifer Bulcock, Founder/Owner at Peoplemade, LLC.
