A Stunning, Minimalist Glass Bottle

Mixed aesthetic influences: RISD grad Peter Ivy hails from Austin, Texas, but operates his glassblowing studio in rural Toyama, Japan. He created this stunning, minimalist glass Bottle S:

I can't remember the last time a glass bottle stopped me in my tracks with its simplicity of form. And the cork is such a nice surprise.

The grey-tinged glass is a custom blend of Ivy's.

He doesn't say what the volume is, but lists the dimensions as 70mm x 210mm (3.4" x 8.3"). The video snippet gives you some sense of its proportions relative to a human hand:

As the name implies, this is the smallest bottle of a series. The rest of the line-up includes a Bottle M, L and XL, but to my eye the others don't have the same elegance of proportion.

The Bottle S runs $215 and Ivy ships worldwide.
