This Canvas lamp is designed specifically to illuminate your worksurface as you sketch or render, while holding your smartphone in the lamp's dedicated cradle to record your work.
"Canvas is meant to replace $5,000+ in gear - but also to reclaim coveted real estate in your workspace," the company, also called Canvas, writes.
The spring-loaded phone clamp will fit any phone, and rotates on a ring. The 1,200-lumen LED is dimmable and can be set at one of three temperatures: 2700K, 4400K and 6000K.
The $118 base model of the lamp comes only with a clamp mount...
...but it can be upgraded to a weighted base in wood ($66-$80), metal ($54) or even marble ($98). Additionally, a MagSafe mount is available for $34.
Apparently these are batch-produced; at press time they were sold out of most models, but taking pre-orders for a new batch scheduled to arrive this month.
