Drinkware manufacturer Stanley cut their teeth keeping beverages hot for 20th-century factory workers. That market is long gone, but Stanley has successfully pivoted with the times. Today's target customer is more concerned with glamping than stamping, thus Stanely now produces this Classic Perfect-Brew Pour Over object.
A reusable stainless steel filter obviates the need to bring along paper ones (although you will of course have to live with some sediment).
It fits a variety of mugs and thermoses...
...and can also be purchased as a set with a Stanley mug.
It seems the company is optimistically anticipating the same craze for this object as happened with their Quencher tumbler, which sold out everywhere. Venerated? I bought my last Stanley thermos quite a few years ago. Handle broke off easily as it was weakly spot-welded. Have since moved to Zojirushi (for small size) and never looked back. It has excellent vacuum insulation. Finicky (for cleaning) lid design is the drawback.
I think it's fair to say that Stanley is venerated. Venerable? Now *that's* debatable :)
Agree. Zojirushi & Tiger brands are superior. The Stanley "Brand" is just that. A marketing / investment firm in Seattle that bought the brand along with Alladin. It's not the "venerated" factory churning out flasks in Great Barrington, Mass. I thin k it's disinguous to claim "since 1913".
