In contrast, industrial designer Masaru Kiyota has produced a smarter design. This Oshel bike helmet concept, done in collaboration with fellow industrial designer Sawyer Hagen, is simply designed to accommodate a U-lock.

Nice simple design. Interesting from a Japanese guy. A uniquely non-Japanese problem where bike theft is thwarted with a necklace grade "lock".

I'm confused. Motorcycles have had helmet locks for ages, like this. Just hook the D-ring from the chin strap through the U-bolt and click it shut. Use a key to pop it back out again.
