As you can see by the receipt in the video, this refrigerator retailed for $497. In 2024 dollars, that's $4,982! These days you can buy a pretty good and feature-rich refrigerator for less than $2,000. Perhaps inflation, over the long term, isn't as bad as we thought.

100 times better than our current Samsung. This has metal!!! shelves!! and the way you can remove the bottom vegetable drawer to clean. Probably much more durable; ous the plastic was breaking a year into using it.
Actual useful features instead of getting charged an arm and a leg for brushed aluminum rather than plastic?! Only thing I'd want out of this that it's missing is double opening doors on the front; otherwise this is honestly worth the four grand.
My parents bought this model when I was little (now 67) and I am still using it because I love the features even knowing it probably adds to my electric bill
