I have to think design historians with a sense of humor will look back on this time fondly. These days everyone is talking about AI, and corporations are desperately wedging it into silly products they're hoping we'll buy.

Case in point: Samsung's Ballie, an utterly pointless yellow orb that rolls around your home, turning lights on and off to give your exhausted light switch fingers a break, and allowing you to reward your dog with treats for trashing the place when you're not home:
