This is video of an extremely impressive design project--researched, designed and built by high school kids.
For the 2009 JETS/AbilityOne NEDC National Finals Competition, a team of students from Commack High in Long Island devised NOW (New Office Workspace), a component-based workstation designed for a cerebral palsy user. Check it out, and be impressed:

It's really great to see that in a high school class! It's too bad we don't see more classes like that in high schools. Kudos to the teacher who lead the project.
That's pretty awesome. It is so wonderful seeing high school students doing group projects to assist the community. That's what ID is all about, making the world a better place.
And that UCP office in Hauppauge, NY is a special place. They helped me find work when I didn't know where to turn.

What a terrific project. It was wonderful choice of problem to solve and a thorough and sensitive approach to solving it.
Again, congratulations!
