While many of us designers are used to finding beauty in the industrial, dancer Anne Troake takes the aesthetic into the realm of motion. After passing a construction site one day, a lightbulb went off over her head and she commissioned the following piece:

This reminds me of a wonderful, fun piece I witnessed in 2000 by the artist Jessica Tully. Unfortunately, there are only video stills on her site, but she created a Bobcat Ballet prior to the demolition of housing projects in San Francisco.
