Bell + Howell, a purveyor of "As Seen on TV" gewgaws, sells this bizarre thing:
The Socket Fanlight reportedly puts out 1,000 lumens of 5,000K light, and the diameter of the fan is 15.4". It's operated by wireless remote and runs $45.
Convenience of installation aside, the Amazon reviews note that a) the thing simply doesn't move a lot of air, and b) "if [your sockets are] not fairly tight they will wobble during fan operation."
