I once had to help a neighbor move seven stubborn cows that didn't want to be moved. These things each weigh a half-ton and can easily crush you. It wasn't fun, took forever, and we had to settle for six out of the seven.
Australian engineer and inventor Craig Stratton, who grew up on a dairy farm, devised a way to move large animals easily while protecting the handler from getting kicked. Called the Vet Sled, as it was originally intended to get shy animals over to visiting veterinarians, it comes in single and double versions.
