We've seen some innovative product from portable lighting company Nebo, but this design seems firmly in the "gift" category—i.e. you'd buy it for someone else, but never yourself. The Nebo Glow is essentially a handle for a tumbler, with a lantern built into the bottom and a flashlight built into the front.
I don't doubt that the handle is more ergonomic than grabbing a metallic cylinder; but I think in the depicted use cases, you'd already have a light-casting device of some sort. That being said I'm not a recreational outdoorsperson; if you are, does this seem useful?

In any case, it's designed to fit 30-oz. tumblers, but can be stopped down to a fit a 20-oz with the included adapter. Runs $30.

Walking to a car with a coffee on a dark morning, or taking a mug of tea to your shed at the end of your garden for an evening's tinkering... the elegance is that both the cup and the torch return to the house.
