I like this Fold table, because it speaks of modelmaking and mock-ups during the design phase. I feel that you'd never arrive at this form for the legs unless you were physically manipulating materials, playing around with armature wire at your desk.
It's a rolling, folding and vertically nesting table for institutions, and it was designed by Finnish furniture designer Jouni Leino.

The legs are made of powder-coated steel and offered in seven colors.
Fold is in production by contract furniture manufacturer Flötotto.

I think the observation that you can do better work when you physically handle the materials is very worthwhile. However, when I look at this table i have the rather strong impression that it needs to pee. It might be interesting to use it in a school setting and see what happens.
