This toilet paper holder manages to be designey and craftsy at the same time.

It's by Danish design studio Moebe, who focus on minimalist housewares. It's visually interesting and a different take, but I'm not convinced the roll wouldn't fall off.

The holder runs €59 (USD $62.50).

I suspect that near the end of the roll the lightness of the remaining roll will probably make it an annoyance to use, it will likely flop around while you try to tear off.

  I agree. And based on the rendering the roll will most likely shift off-center and fall out. I wonder if they did any prototype testing.

$63 bucks?
And in my opinion, needs a spring loaded insert that the end of the metal will fit in.
