Here's Tivoli Audio's SongBook Max, a portable speaker that looks like a Bauhaus boombox. Pleasingly, for those of us sick of membrane switches and touch interfaces, the device offers analog switches, sliders and knobs.
It's a pretty hefty device, measuring 15" wide, 11" tall and 6" deep, and weighing in at 11.5 lbs.
"The SongBook MAX is built for big sound with multiple drivers offering a larger-than-life audio experience. Its carry handle, 10-hour battery life, built-in preamp, DAB/DAB+/FM radio, and Bluetooth connectivity make it the perfect companion for taking your indoor or outdoor sound to the next level."
The Songbook Max runs $600 and comes out next month.

Knobs and sliders are all well and good, but they can be prone to dust ingress. This model claims an IPX 4 rating, 'water splashes from any direction'. I'm assuming that it's sliders aren't actually variable resistors, so it'll be immune from the crackle that 1980s boomboxes could exhibit when adjusting the EQ.
Great company. I have a number of their audio products. Good design & good sound.
