The X-Cabin is Japan's answer to the Airstream trailer. Sized for the country's space constraints, it's a single-axis aluminum-clad trailer measuring just 4,850mm long by 2,120mm wide by 2,170mm tall (roughly 16' x 7' x '7), tipping the scales at 730kg to 750kg (1,609 lbs to 1,650 lbs).

They can be kitted out with sinks, refrigerators and stoves. Three configurations are offered (apologies for the poor quality assets and the lack of translated call-outs):

The ¥5,800,000 (USD $39,356) X-Cabin 300 is the basic model and offers hang-out space rather than proper sleeping facilities:

The ¥7,200,000 (USD $48,856) X-Cabin Solo offers, as the name suggests, sleeping space for one:

The ¥6,200,000 (USD $42,070) X-Cabin 300 Glamp sleeps two, thanks to a dining table that telescopes downwards to become level with the banquette seating, forming a full-width sleeping platform:

There's also a pared-down ¥4,620,000 (USD $31,352) X-Cabin 300 FT, the "FT" presumably standing for "Food Truck:"

The rear of the cabin can be fitted with double doors, or an awning-style hatch.

Obviously the X-Cabin cannot compete with a dual-axis Airstream, but it's not meant to; the smallest of Airstream's offerings, the Flying Cloud, is 23' long and starts at $96,400. (Not to mention, such a trailer would be virtually unparkable in a Japanese driveway.)
