In Japan, gachapon toys are tiny replicas of mundane objects, sold inside capsules dispensed from vending machines. These recent examples by toy manufacturer Stasto Stand Stones are hilarious: Iconic Casio watches, but shrunken down to ring size.
The machine-translated copy is also funny:
"A ring completely supervised by Casio Computer Co., Ltd., a major watch manufacturer, is now available in gachapon. The appeal of Casio watches is their high design. Overwhelming support from a wide range of people is obtained. Faithfully reproduce the real wristwatch even if it is small! The digital display part, the dial, and the 3-layer structure of the glass (analog clock has 2 layers), etc. are one of our specialties."
These are non-functional; I mean they run ¥400 (USD $2.78), so what did you expect.

its a baby Bin Laden!
There are functional ring watches on Amazon for... well, the price of cheap Asia-made electronics. Ironically, the more mechanically complex analog ring watches are more abundant than what I assumed would be the simpler to produce digital versions.
