This unusual-looking AK 2 object is by industrial designers Uli Budde and Ivan Kasner.
It's a workspace divider with a built-in lamp, available in both hanging and free-standing versions.
The shell is made from PET Felt, which is PET bottles that have been recycled into felt and pressed in a mold. The material offers "great acoustic properties," according to the manufacturer, and is itself recyclable. Inside the felt is a honeycomb paper core that offers rigidity.
It comes in 11 different colors, and is in production by Dutch manufacturer De Vorm.
