For those of you who bring lunch on-the-go, and find glass too fragile and plastic too plasticky, this Explorer Leakproof Lunchbox is made of food-grade stainless steel. These are designed and made by Seattle-based sustainable lunchbox company PlanetBox.
The "leakproof" bit comes via the silicone seal.
While the whole thing can obviously not be placed in the nuke, the insert tray alone is actually microwave-safe.
Being largely made of steel, the container's a bit heavier than glass, weighing in at 1.2 lbs empty. (They're also quite a bit pricier, at $50 a pop.)
