This Stui salt and pepper shaker was done by Jonas Finkeldei, during his time as an Industrial Design student at Germany's Academy for Design at Münster.
"Stui is a spice shaker made of oak and beech intended for pepper and salt. It has two chambers into which the spices are poured."
"The colour-contrasting slider covers the scattering openings of the chambers. It can be moved up and down, thereby exposing the sprinkling openings located at the top and bottom. Depending on the sliding position, the desired chamber (pepper or salt) is opened for spreading."
With a little refinement, I could totally see this being sold at Sur La Table or similar.
