A startup called Migo Robotics claims to have developed a robot vacuum that can climb stairs. The Migo Ascender, as it's called, also reportedly has mopping functionality.
It's fun to see the physical solution they've developed to enable the thing to climb:
The company says the Ascender is estimated to ship this August, and will retail for $1,400; they're offering it for $1,000 if you sign up early at the link above.
Perhaps worth noting: Nowhere on their website do they say the thing can descend stairs.
