The Nike Egyptian Goose Huarache?
A clear example of CMF designers inspired by nature
This is a current version of the Nike Air Huarache Premium, first designed in 1991 by Tinker Hatfield and since released in multiple colorways.
This is the Egyptian Goose, an African breed that escaped from a zoo in Arkansas and has now multiplied to become an invasive species, devastating local crops.

I mean, there's no way the Huarache's current CMF designer hasn't seen the Egyptian Goose, right?
This isn't a knock on the designer, by the way. There's no shame in taking inspiration from nature, and it's not like the goose works for Adidas.
