This is another one of those product designs that seem they might have been crafted using whatever was lying around. This height-adjustable Stilk Side Table is by Danish furniture designer Jonas Herman Pedersen:
"The development of the Stilk Side Table started with the idea of creating an extremely light construction that rests on a solid monolith."
"Our aim is to challenge the construction of a table and make something which seems to hover in the air."
"Through studying bent surfaces and counterweights we figured out the mould of the tabletop."
Available in either ash or oak, the Stilt is in production by Danish furniture brand Form & Refine.
