Perhaps strange to Americans, ham stands are a category of kitchen product you'll see in Europe, where people take their ham seriously.

However, these are bulky objects that don't exactly fit into a drawer; where do you store the thing when you're not hamming? Barcelona-based industrial designer Francesc Vilaró thus designed this folding ham stand:

The version above is for hams weighing 7-9kg. For lesser hams weighing 5-7kg, there's this smaller version:

Both are in production by Spanish kitchenware brand Lodiví.
