Makita makes this incredible powered cart that runs off of 18V power tool batteries. Called the DCU600 series, it can be selected with three different types of loading platforms. I desperately need all three of these on this farm, but the specifics of my situation aside, you can hopefully see the utility this platform would offer in a variety of physical labor circumstances.

The 603, which most closely resembles a traditional wheelbarrow, offers dump functionality and a 200-liter (52.8-gallon) capacity.

The 604 is the pipe frame carrier model. The frame can be extended in both the X- and Y-axes to accommodate wider loads.

The components are sealed so you can hose the thing off to clean it.

The 605 is the flat bucket model, which has a nearly 300-liter (nearly 79.3-gallon) capacity. The bucket can be hosed out for cleaning.

All versions run on 18V batteries, of which it needs a minimum of two to run.

The load capacity on flat ground is 300kg (a whopping 661 pounds).

A controller by the right handle allows the operator to set one of three speeds.

With all four batteries installed, the range is 7.2km (4.5 miles) of travel.
