This beautiful and fascinating stool with a tilt-able seat is sold (limited edition) by Paris-based Galerie Maria Wettergren:
Simply called Maple Stool, it was designed by Denmark-based furniture designer Line Depping. (Note to Americans: "Line" is a Danish first name, roughly pronounced "LEE-neh.")
There isn't much information about the piece itself, but Depping says this about her work:
"My expression is simple, and my emphasis on function also involves making room for disorder in order to accommodate the irrational and chaotic aspects of life. The form should be natural and well-proportioned and thus appeal to the user and make room for use."

If you don't land exactly on the center of the stool when you sit you will land on your ass on the floor -
