  Yeah, and when you can hoist your 50 lb. bicycle to your ten foot ceiling, give me a call. I'm having enough trouble getting my 25 lb commuter on a Delta "Leonardo" hook 5 feet off the ground.

  the advantage i see with it is the decreased chance of putting tyre marks all over the walls and ceiling since the bike only needs to be moved up and down rather than the up and over of a "J" hook.

  does it seem like a little overkill?
  have there been a lot of cases of bikes falling off of hooks?

  besides being more expensive and more difficult to install and use, how is this an improvement over my never-failed $0.98 screw hook (with which you don't have to do some overhead aiming and balance act to push a button)?
