I've griped before about the cheapie Ikea laundry drying racks I use, but here's a new dog-based complaint with them: If you use them to hang shirts on hangers, as I do, this places the shirts at dog height, so during shedding season the shirts get nice and hairy.
This SuperGulliver folding rack, by Italian wooden goods manufacturer Foppapedretti, is a far better design. In addition to offering a lot of drying line—35 meters' worth, the company says—there's a high bar for shirts on hangers, well above dog height.
The metal parts of the rack are aluminum, and of the four swivel wheels, two have brakes. It folds flat down to just 14cm (5.5") wide.
The rack is a bit on the pricey side, at €199 (USD $210) a pop.

Wow!
This is almost identical to something we designed for a well known British homewares company 8 years ago, even the colour is similar.
The idea was a concept (only a few people have seen it) so I'm not claiming any IP infringement, just a remarkable coincidence.
Still think it is a good idea!
