This Tutu Half-Cone Collar, by Taiwan-based product design consultancy Nessdesign, is intended as an improvement on the post-surgery "cone of shame."
Designers Chao-Wei Sun & Hsin-Hua Yeh say their version still prevents the dogs from licking their wounds, without blocking their upper vision. And unlike a traditional Elizabethan collar, there's no way for the dog to back out of it, thanks to the chest strap.
As a dog owner my main question is how well this thing stays properly oriented. We may never know; at press time at least, this appeared to be a concept only.
