Turns out that Flea, of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, has incredible architectural taste. Until recently the bassist had been living at his Southern California compound, which contains three structures: A modernist edifice by the award-winning L.A. architect Michael Maltzan; a restored midcentury modern classic designed by Austrian-American Richard Neutra; and a modern, minimal guest cabin designed by artist Peter Staley.

Now that Flea's put the place up for sale, an incredibly revealing video tour has been released, detailing the interiors of all three structures. Whether your taste overlaps with Flea's or not, you cannot deny his strong eye for detail, love of geometry and strident insistence on pared-down style.
