This MOom Adaptable Mirror concept was done by product designer Ningyuan Xu, when she was studying Product & Interaction Design at the Weissensee Art Academy, School of Art and Design in Berlin.
"This is a smart mirror which continuously adjusts its zoom ratio, by sensing how far you are from it. One step forward to zoom in and focus on putting on your makeup. One step backwards to see your full body for getting dressed. There you have both a makeup mirror and a full length mirror in a limited space."
Xu first tested the concept manually…

Sadly, it appears that's as far as it went; having gained her degree, Xu now works as a product designer for Berlin-based consultancy Wonderwerk.
