This Upright children's chair, made from bent beech plywood by manufacturer Toyohashi Mokko, was designed to allow small children to sit at table height.
The backrest is shaped to enforce good posture. The notched, tool-free adjustment mechanism for both the seat bottom and footrest allows the chair to "grow" with your child, giving it a longer life.
The fabric seat cover can be removed for washing.
In Japan these run about ¥50,000 (USD $370).
