After an exciting reveal of the 2022 Core77 Design Awards winners in a live virtual ceremony on June 28th, Core77 announced the kickoff of our Community Choice prize competition honoring the most popular project of the year chosen by our readers. We've been collecting all of your votes since then, and the results are in! It's time to announce the winners of the 2022 Core77 Design Awards Community Choice prize.

One grand prize winner and 17 category winners have been chosen by the Core77 audience as their favorite awarded design projects of 2022, with the grand prize winner taking home a special prize of $500 cash.

And the 2022 Community Choice winners are...

Grand Prize Winner: Constancy

The grand prize winner of the 2022 Core77 Design Awards Community Choice Prize is "Constancy: Combating Food Insecurity Among Pregnant Women". This project was a 2022 Student Notable in the Design for Social Impact category and was designed by Grace Morales, Jade Carter, Sabrina Casilla, Fumika Iwasaki, Richa Verma, and Tito Nawat at Pratt Institute.

Constancy is a a meal prep mobile-app service concept catering to pregnant women. In an attempt to provide easily accessible nutritious food at an affordable price, the app was designed so users can order produce sourced from local farms in Puerto Rico—many of which are rebuilding what is left from Hurricane Maria—to find hope again. Produce is delivered directly to their homes or available for pickup at satellite locations around the island. Within their plan for this concept, the app would also connect to free healthcare community center services in Puerto Rico to provide nutritionist and/or dietician-certified suggestions.
