There's nothing quite like the ergonomics of the low-slung Adirondack chair.
We looked at the chair's history here, and all of its iterations have one thing in common: They use a fair bit of material, and are certainly too heavy to tote around.
If you're a fan of the form and wish it was portable, outdoor gear manufacturer BoteBoard figure out how to make it so. Their AeroRondak Chair weighs just 16 pounds, as it's inflatable.
The armrests and backrest can be tuned to your comfort, as they're inflated separately, allowing you to control the rigidity. There are also two coaster-sized "Magnepods" embedded in the armrests; these magnetic circles will hold a metal tumbler or bottle in place.
The price is a bit rich: $549 for one, $998 for two. (They do throw in a pump, carry bag and repair kit with each unit.)
