Beautiful Concept for an Unrealized Samsung Rollable Display

South Korean ID consultancy Unichest designed this Rollable Display concept for Samsung:
Completed in December of 2019, the concept was either derailed by COVID or otherwise deemed unfit for production.
There is something intriguing about the concept. The form is handsome and rational, and for some reason I picture this living in the kitchen, where one might use it primarily in the closed position as a radio/podcast player, but pop it open to check an e-mail, display a recipe, or put the game on in the background while doing dishes. I think the proportions of the object, particularly in the closed position, have a real perfection to them.
