We are touring the London Design Festival - today is the first day of 100% Design. It's busy as expected and the general first impression is that the designs are finally way less baroque-ish then in the past two years and there is a return to simpler shapes. There seems to be a big revival of the 50's, or rather a new aesthetic interpretation of it. Sustainability is also a big issue as well as the inspiration from natural forms. In the next few days we will keep reporting about all the different events and new trends from the city on the Themse.
