Holy-Crap Footage of the Atlas Robot Doing Parkour-esque Tricks
Escaping one of these would be impossible
Even a robo-phobic child would have a hard time being scared by the Daleks, the robot-like aliens from Doctor Who; the supposedly terrifying beings traveled around on wheels, so you could escape one by stepping onto a curb.
Well, times have changed, as have robot bodies. Boston Dynamics' Atlas 'bots could already catch up to you on open ground, and with recent upgrades, it looks like they could now run you down on an obstacle course:

Am I the only one that's being more and more desensitized to these Boston Dynamics videos? It feels like every month now there is a new video of them dancing or running or jumping around..
I *know* that what I'm seeing is an amazing feat of engineering and a lot of people working really really hard to make this happen. But my emotional response is just... 'meh'...
