Russian tool retailer Kuvalda posted this video, with their branding clearly in the shot, of an unusual tool:
From what I can tell, it uses an ordinary roll of electrical tape.
It doesn't seem like it would offer a particularly hardy connection, but this would surely be useful for cable management. It would be less wasteful and faster than using zip-ties, assuming you could get that large hammer-headed tool into the spaces you're working in.
I was unable to locate this tool anywhere on Kuvalda's Russian-language website, even with machine translation on. If any of our Russian readers are able to provide a link, we'd be much obliged.

I've seen these used for loosely tying plants to trellises, posts, etc... You often see this at nurseries / Home Depot / Lowes.
Some time back I got an inexpensive pack of about three zillion velcro ties, which are quite quick to use, easily reusable/repositionable, and are made of the good velcro with the short and robust hook side. I can imagine uses where this tape gun might be a significant improvement, but those also set off RSI warnings in my head...
