Imagine you're cooking on one of those induction stoves, and as you stir a pot of sauce, the pot begins to slide across the surface. You can easily grab the handle to steady the pot—if you can clearly see the handle; if you don't have arthritis; if you have two hands.
For those on the wrong side of those if's, Tim Chapman, who calls himself an "inclusive industrial designer," has the solution. Designed while he was still a Product Design student at the UK's University of Nottingham, Chapman's Pan Pickle is a piece of silicone shaped to hold a pot or pan in place as you stir.

Chapman, who has since graduated, has seen strong interest in the Pan Pickle and is currently readying a Kickstarter.
