Personable, Wearable Tents Now Adapted for Mosquito Duty

Personal tent company Under the Weather has adapted their products from rain protection in 2017 to COVID protection in 2020.

To expand the line, in 2021 they're tackling bugs.

UTW's WalkingPod Mesh tents ditch the transparent plastic for fine-gauge mesh, meant to keep mosquitos at bay while you work outdoors.

With a lot of outdoors work to do, I can't deny that I like the idea of avoiding bug bites; I just don't know if I could work in this thing. Am also wondering how easy it is to hike up, to attend to calls of nature.

The pods are one-size-fits-all and run $90.

happily used shirt with zip over hood and snug cuffs for years https://www.bugbaffler.com/

Not sure how active the business is now but I’m sure there are others. The large full zip hood is awesome as you can wear a hat with brim and keep mesh away from face. These are amazing for heavy duty periods in northern New England peak black fly and mosquito periods. This box thing looks restricted, I can do all normal chores and the big baffler is cool. Mesh has even proven surprisingly durable, nice for times not wanting deet. Low light visibility at dusk is reduced.
