I can almost hear the German accent in this press release sent from Schalksmühle, a wealthy enclave in North Rhine-Westphalia and the home of high-end building technology firm Jung: "For decades JUNG manufactures puristically designed switches with special know-how in material processing."
Part of that know-how is applied to making the switches so designey they don't even look like light switches at all. But done up in sexy matte white and matte black, I see them and just want to touch them:
If you're a designer with fancy clients and you want to spec some Jung stuff, their catalog is here.

They look like pretty standard euro switches to me.
I can't remember looking at light switches for soo long. But it is cool thought.
Somehow I imagine them being made of metal (I cannot find the material (I'm too lazy sorry ;) )) and being cool to the touch... as opposed to the cheap ones in my house being plastic. that would be an interesting sensory surprise. :) Cool.
They're beautiful but I can think of is what a large area to keep clean all the time. You must need to wipe them down like once a week.
