Obsessed with unusual industrial objects, my wife has a talent for discovering companies you've never heard of that produce sector-specific specialty items. Her latest find is Bawer, an Italian manufacturer that produces "high-tech, avant-garde steel products for the automotive, medical and museum markets."
Their catalog is fascinating. Here I'll show you just one of their specialties: "Bawer Multibox Special Toolbox Multifunctional Storage Containers," meant to be integrated with service vehicles. (Bear in mind that this is a European company, so the product descriptions on their website range from sucky to non-existent.)
"It combines a toolbox, a fire extinguisher box and a hand wash tank."
With no description provided by the company, I imagine it's shaped this way in order to fit between two wheel wells on the same side of a multi-axis vehicle.

No description provided by the company, but I'm thinking they're meant to store these things.
Can be kitted out with a variety of interior fittings.
I'm guessing it's up to the user to apply an easy-to-spot-in-an-emergency icon on the front.
In the photos above, the scale of these objects is not adequately conveyed. To get a better sense of how large these are, have a look at the Bawer toolbox below, installed by Maryland Carrier & Wrecker Sales:
